Early Childhood Music Classes
DCYC is now offering classes for Early Childhood Music! These classes are open to children from birth through 4 years old. These classes are a fantastic way to not only support children's musical aptitude in their early years, but offer wonderful bonding experiences, socialization, and musical exploration!
What Happens in Early Childhood Music Classes?
Our curriculum is a well-researched setting for children to grow as young musicians. Supported by their adult every step of the way, these classes are opportunities for children to learn about music in a play-based setting and build their aptitude (musical potential) for audiation, or musical thinking. There will be songs, chants, listening, games, and instruments in these classes.
Timeline
Classes run in 10 week cycles, with one cycle in the Fall, and one in the Spring. Payments are due at each class. .Classes are offered on Friday afternoons at Sandbrock Ranch Elementary School. Please see our booking page for classes times and availability!
Booking a Class
Our classes are set at a reasonable rate to support families. Classes are $15 per child per class. Classes are to be booked weekly here. We offer class packages at a discounted rate, as well as a discounted class rate for children of Denton ISD employees. Click here to view class packages.
